I got a inter land certificate on strong I am really proud of this. It was also super fun doing the progress to getting it.

My lock down

 

I made a journal telling you about how my lock down has been and what I have been doing. It also was super fun making my journal because I got to explain how my lock down has been.

My bird feeder

 

Today my dad and I made a bird feeder with some left over wood from under the house.

First my dad helped me by cutting up some wood so we could nail it together. After we had finished the base of the house we had to make the roof that was the hardest part of all, once we had finished I got to paint it. My little brother helped me paint it because it was a big job. When it was all dry we used some peanut butter to help the bird seed stick. I have put my bird feeder by the water fountain because that is where all the birds go to have a bath.

scientific observations

We did an excitement about when we mix foods with soda\ acid, I did crackers 

with soda and then crumbled it all up. Next it turned into a vomit colour and 

it was super soggy.

A good comment

 We have been learning about good comments and bad comments. I have made a Storyboard that tells you how she felt when she made a blog post and came to school. She was worried if the kids at school would see that blog post and then make fun of her. But then she got nice comments which made her fell happy.

I think this activity was fun because we got to learn not to be sad when you make a good blog post because sometimes they could give you a good comment and then you can be happy.

New Maths Strategy

We have been learning a new way to solve subtraction equations in the hundreds. This strategy is called Rounding and Compensating. 

At first I thought I couldn't do it, but it actually learnt how to pretty quickly! Miss Johnson was super impressed!

We have been learning about 1st person and 3rd person narrative. We watched a video about a story called 'Seriously Cinderella is so annoying' where the step mothers her side of the story. Origami Butterfly taught by Ms Lim

We have been learning how to make origami butterflies, we had to follow the instructions that Emily shared with us. We did this as Emily was sharing something that was important to her family and her culture. I think it was really fun but a little bit of it was tricky so I had to give it to Miss Jonson for help. It was really fun.
