New Maths Strategy

We have been learning a new way to solve subtraction equations in the hundreds. This strategy is called Rounding and Compensating. 

At first I thought I couldn't do it, but it actually learnt how to pretty quickly! Miss Johnson was super impressed! 

 

We have been learning about polygons this year and what they are.

We were writing about Cinderella and Step Mother. We are trying to convince some people to see who they  believe. Who do you believe Cinderella or the believe Cinderella or lady Tremaine?  Would you like to try?

 

We have been learning about 1st person and 3rd person narrative. We watched a video about a story called 'Seriously Cinderella is so annoying' where the step mothers her side of the story. Origami Butterfly taught by Ms Lim

We have been learning how to make origami butterflies, we had to follow the instructions that Emily shared with us. We did this as Emily was sharing something that was important to her family and her culture. I think it was really fun but a little bit of it was tricky so I had to give it to Miss Jonson for help. It was really fun.
